One of the biggest mistakes made when a person is arrested for DUI is seeking legal advice from the wrong resources. One of the worst resources is the bail bondsman. The moment you are released, you have an immediate conflict of interest with the bail bondsman. The bail bondsman's interest is an immediate plea of guilty in the case. In that event, he would no longer be financially responsible if arrestee failed to attend court. No person should quickly plead guilty to DUI without first having their case investigated. Avoid so-called "advice" from anyone who is not working in your best interest, and never take advice or a recommendation for an attorney from someone with whom you have a conflict.
