18 year old William Shaw Hemby has been charged with DUI, reckless driving, serious accident and injury by vehicle charges, and vehicular homicide stemming from an accident earlier this summer in Johns Creek. Reportedly, Hemby was driving a minivan with 5 passengers in the Johns Creek County Club of the South subdivision. He allegedly was speeding and ran a stop sign. The result was Hemby's vehicle striking an SUV in which an 81 year old passenger sustained trauma to the torso and died from the injuries.
