There is no question that when you are potentially facing jail time, hefty monetary fines, license suspension and a permanent criminal record, you want to hire the best DUI lawyer available. Our Whitfield County DUI attorneys are more than your average "general practitioner" who practices DUI defense on the side. Instead, we has devoted our entire legal careers to the field of DUI law. With over 25 years in practice, Mr. Lawson and his team have successfully resolved more than 5,000 Georgia DUI cases.

Additionally, we have helped hundreds of Georgians obtain dismissals, reductions to reckless driving and reductions to other lesser offenses. Over the years he has helped thousands of clients keep their driver's licenses despite the fact that they were facing serious DUI related offenses.

Former DUI Prosecutor on Your Side

Our founder, Mr. Richard Lawson, didn't always practice DUI defense. He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney where he prosecuted DUI cases. The very training he received to become a DUI prosecutor is the same training used today to teach DUI prosecutors and judges. Mr. Lawson took his knowledge and training and used it to build the most successful DUI defense firm in Georgia.

At the Law Offices of Richard S. Lawson, we have defended DUI cases all throughout the state of Georgia and we have garnered a solid reputation for being skilled trial attorneys and negotiators. In addition to practicing DUI defense, our DUI Lawyers in Whitfield County can provide aggressive, skilled and tenacious legal representation for clients facing all types of DUI charges ranging from simple first time DUI offenses, to habitual violators, Drugs & DUI, DUI under 21, marijuana cases, to child endangerment, vehicular homicide and everything in between.
