Twilight Actor Arrested for DUI

Kiowa Gordon, who plays Embry Call, one of the werewolves in the Twilight movie series, was arrested recently for DUI in Arizona. Gordon is 21 and is suspected of having driven under the influence of alcohol and drugs. He has a prior charge of possession of drug related objects and paraphernalia and for underage consumption of alcohol.

In Georgia, a person faces a violation of probation if they are on probation for any offense - including possession of drug paraphernalia or underage consumption / minor in possession of alcohol (MIP) charges, and they pick up a new offense. A new offense that is as serious as driving under the influence will most likely result in the probation officer filing a violation of probation and seeking a revocation of the remaining probation time to jail. It may also result in a person losing their first offender status.
