That is just one of the reasons why we make sure our clients are informed about their case.

DUI cases generally being with an initial court appearance called an arraignment. This is where the judge will read the charges against you, and you will be expected to enter a plea on the record. If you hire our DUI Attorneys in Jackson County GA, we will appear on your behalf and enter a plea of “not guilty.”

After the arraignment, we will start working on building your defense. This happens through discovery requests where we ask for police reports, dashcam videos, and other evidence the other side has. We will interview witnesses, consult medical experts, and even visit the scene of the arrest if that is needed. Our Jackson County DUI Lawyers conduct an extremely thorough investigation to make sure we have all the facts, and then we will inform you of your options.

Once we understand the facts of your case, we will begin working on getting the charges dismissed or reduced to a lesser charge. Very rarely do prosecutors or judges dismiss DUI cases outright; therefore, winning your case generally results in a plea to a lesser charge with fewer penalties. However, if we are unable to negotiate a deal with the solicitor, we will set your case for trial. Whether you would like a bench trial, where the judge makes the decision, or a jury trial, where six citizens decide the outcome of your case, our DUI Lawyers in Jackson County GA, are skilled in obtaining the results you desire.
